At Konkaya, we specialize in material synergy—pairing ethically harvested West African hardwoods with precision-machined modern surfaces:
- Organic Warmth Meets Anti-Fingerprint Matte: Pairing rich, ribbon-grained Sapele Mahogany with dead-matte charcoal or warm taupe lacquered frontals. The matte surfaces absorb glare while highlighting the deep natural iridescence of the hardwood.
- Stone & Timber Interplay: Floating dining tables and kitchen peninsulas that marry 45mm solid Iroko slabs with waterfall Calacatta quartz worktops, engineered with concealed silicone isolation gaskets to accommodate differing thermal expansion rates.

Workshop Engineering Rule
Every piece of timber cut at Konkaya is seasoned in-house for a minimum of 21 to 30 days to reach 10%–12% equilibrium moisture content (EMC). We seal all six faces of every component with industrial polyurethane moisture barriers to resist coastal humidity and dry Harmattan winds.
