At Konkaya, we specialize in uniting seasoned West African hardwoods with precision-machined modern materials:
- Natural Wood and Anti-Fingerprint Matte: Pairing ribbon-grained Sapele Mahogany with dead-matte charcoal or warm taupe lacquered frontals. The matte surfaces absorb glare while highlighting the natural depth of the hardwood grain.
- Stone and Timber Detailing: Custom dining tables and kitchen peninsulas that unite 45mm solid Iroko slabs with waterfall Calacatta quartz worktops, engineered with concealed silicone isolation gaskets to accommodate natural movement.
- Integrated 3000K Lighting: Recessing micro-fluted aluminum LED profiles beneath floating credenzas, behind slatted acoustic wall panels, and inside wardrobe reveals. The indirect warm light emphasizes grain texture and provides clean ambient illumination without exposed bulbs.

Workshop Engineering Rule
Every piece of timber cut at Konkaya is seasoned in-house for a minimum of 21 to 30 days to reach 10% to 12% equilibrium moisture content (EMC). We seal all six faces of every component with industrial polyurethane moisture barriers to resist coastal humidity and dry Harmattan winds.
